HOLIDAY COCKTAIL PARTY, hosted by Bill Myers and Masahiro Kasai at Bill’s condo in Glen Ellyn.

Contact Bill for directions. Free.

This party takes the place of our usual Wine & Cheese for December.

Wednesday, December 7 (also December 14, 21, 28) - 11:30 A.M.

A TOUCH OF CULTURE at the Chicago Cultural Center.

Free classical concert. Meet in the first floor lounge of the Center near the north entrance (on Randolph just west of Michigan).

Lunch afterwards for those interested. Reservation not required. For info call Bob Branham.

As in past years, the board is giving you the gift of a free Holiday Party.

The party will take place at the Malibu East property at 6033 North Sheridan Road in the Windjammer Room.

We will have a catered meal and our usual open bar.

Please bring a gift of $10-15 for our gift exchange.

If you need parking make sure you mention this when you make your reservation.

Sunday, December 11, 6:00 P.M.

OPEN SOCIAL at Ann Sather Restaurant, 909 W. Belmont, Chicago.

Social at 6:00. Bring your own alcoholic beverages (setups: $1.00). Dinner at 7:00. Cost is $20.00 for members, $25.00 for non-members.

Non-members and guests are always most welcome. After-dinner entertainment:

2011 will end with a musical performance by Ron Dickson and Marvin Levin. We will be singing a mix of show tunes, humorous numbers and maybe even a few surprises. It all happens on Sunday, December 11 - our usual 2nd Sunday of the month.

             The doors open at Ann Sathers at 6:00 for a social hour, buffet dinner at 7:00 followed by the show.

The Open Social is a great way for new (or potential) members to get to know us. Guests are always welcome.

Monday, December 12, 6:30 P.M.

CPT BOARD MEETING at Nookies Tree restaurant, 3334 N. Halsted, in the meeting room.

All CPT members are welcome to attend, but to be on the agenda phone CPT President Wallie Hall at least 24 hours ahead.

Thursday, December 15, 7:00 P.M.

HEARTS at the southside home of Henry McMorris.

Soda and snacks are provided ($3.00).

Friday, December 16

A TRIP TO THE ZOO - Zoolights at Lincoln Park Zoo, 2200 N. Cannon Drive (along the lake, just north of Armitage). Fun and special holiday events.

Join us for Lincoln Park Zoo’s annual ZooLights. “Don’t miss all the fun things to see and do including visits with Santa in the wildest spot in town, animals from around the world, live ice carving, holiday crafts, delicious food, hot spiced wine and unique holiday shopping.”

             We’ll meet at 6:00 P.M. on Friday, December 16, at the Park Place Café in the zoo, then enjoy the rest of the festivities and activities. Please call Greg Neil to let him know to look for you.

CPT New Year’s Eve Party

Can you believe that another year has passed?!? Yes, 2012 is upon us and Chicago Prime Timers are ready! Our annual New Year's Eve Party will be held at 7:30 P.M. at 6033 North Sheridan Road (Malibu East) in the Windjammer Room.

             The main meal will be catered and we're asking you to bring an appetizer or dessert. We will have our usual open bar. There will also be a live DJ spinning great music, so make sure to wear your dancin' shoes!

Cost of the party is $25. Please call David Lazear to make reservations and for menu coordination. If you need parking, make sure to mention this at the time you make your reservation.

Plan now to join us for what promises to be a great evening of fun and fellowship.

NEW YEAR’S DAY HANGOVER PARTY, at Mike Shewmake’s home in LaGrange.

Mike Shewmake has again graciously invited Chicago Prime Timers to his home in La Grange IL for his annual New Year's Day Hangover Party.

The party will be between 2 & 8 pm. Please call Mike to make your reservation and for directions and food coordination
